How does it work?
The excavator bucket excavates the material matrix. The full bucket is lifted and placed over an area where the screened material of the sort is to be deposited. The Dig 'N' Screen is hydraulically closed over the bucket opening. As the bucket uncurls, the excavated material is deposited onto the screen, allowing the smaller material to fall through. Once material separation is complete, the bucket is moved to the area where the larger material is to be deposited, the Dig 'N' Screen is opened to release the remaining material.
VERSATILITY
Dig 'N' Screen, Sorts and screens in one simple operation in wet or dry conditions.
The screen is mounted opposing the bucket and tucks neatly out of the way for normal digging.
Dig 'N' Screen allows for a wide variety of materials to be screened: rock,
gravel, or even wood chips.
The material separation size can be varied simply by changing the placement
of the screening bars.
The Dig 'N' Screen tool attachment has an assortment of unique features.
The optional hydraulic vibrator is easily bolted on. The vibrator is oil driven,
supplied from the tool cylinder.
Using the same quick attachment, the optional Hydraulic Thumb handles the large objects such as stumps, logs and rocks.
The Dig 'N' Screen can be supplied with a Fixed or Progressive Link.
DIVERSITY
Dig 'N' Screen may be used for excavating trenches, laying pipe, back filling
screened material, screening at road side quarries, excavating and screening
pockets or veins of material, dredging, landscaping and back filling around
foundations.
